Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott has chosen to support the American Neurological Association (ANA) as part of this year's My Cause My Cleats campaign. Players have the opportunity to pick a cause that is important to them and represent their chosen organization on custom-designed cleats. Scott will debut his cleats in the Eagles game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, December 13. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:25 PM ET and will be broadcast on FOX.
"This year I will be supporting the American Neurological Association. In my past I dealt with a neurological disorder and when I looked into it to gain a better understanding of things on the neurological level, I found a lot of how to manage these diseases and disorders, but little on curing them. It was difficult at first, but I'm thankful that my experience eventually became manageable and I was able to go on to live out my dream. But, there are many who can’t say the same and I can’t imagine the mental and physical toll that people have to endure when they can’t find anything that allows them to manage their symptoms. My hope is that we will continue to make progress in research and treatment options so that those who suffer from these conditions don’t have to battle to manage but can one day have hope that they can be cured." ~Boston Scott
