The American Brain Coalition, American College of Neuropsychopharmocology, Allen Institute, International Neuroethics Society, The Kavli Foundation, Simons Foundation and Society for Neuroscience, in cooperation with the Congressional Neuroscience Caucus, are hosting a Virtual Briefing celebrating the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative and the researchers who are helping advance our understanding of the body’s most complex organ. By accelerating the development and application of innovative technologies, researchers are able to produce a dynamic picture of the brain that shows how individual cells and complex neural circuits interact in both time and space.
This is laying the groundwork for new treatments for brain-related afflictions.
