Comment Period Open for Interventional Neurology Fellowship Program Requirements

The United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) will be offering accreditation for Interventional Neurology fellowship training programs. The proposed program requirements are now open for a comment period. Program Requirements are the minimum standards with which programs must demonstrate substantial compliance to achieve accreditation. The proposed requirements include the common requirements of all UCNS-accredited training programs in addition to the subspecialty-specific requirements that are proposed by the subspecialty.

The proposed Interventional Neurology program requirements and comment submission links and instructions can be found under About at www.ucns.org. The comment period deadline is Monday, August 30, 2021.

The United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties is a 501(c)6 nonprofit organization with a mission to enhance the quality of patient care through accreditation of training programs and certification of physicians in emerging neurologic subspecialties. There are currently over 3,100 UCNS-certified physicians and 218 UCNS-accredited fellowship training programs across eight neurologic subspecialties.
