ANA Past President Justin C. McArthur, MBBS, MPH, shares his thoughts in a recent Neurology Today article titled "The Omicron Surge, COVID-19 Vaccines, and Boosters. What to Tell Your Patients Now."
Dr. McArthur, Director of the Department of Neurology at Johns Hopkins Medicine, says: "I think one could take a very pessimistic view and say omicron is so transmissible that everyone is going to get it. I think we want to avoid that view because if we can slow down the transmission, it just takes the pressure off the health care system."
