"Sober October warning: As new research suggests abstaining from alcohol might RAISE the risk of dementia, can a drink a day actually be good for you?" explores a new study which finds that moderate drinking can boost long-term brain health more than abstinence. ANA member, Dr. Robert Friedland told DailyMail.com that there are far more studies showing how bad alcohol is. He said the relative rare results should not be misinterpreted as a reason for someone to increase their alcohol consumption.
