Academic Medicine is seeking original submissions for its Letters to the Editor feature from medical students, residents, fellows, and trainees in other health professions on the topic of trainees as agents of change in academic medicine and the health professions.
The journal is looking for submissions that highlight actionable ways medical and health professions trainees can act as agents of change within the environments where they learn, work, and live. Letters may use a personal experience to illustrate a point, but should not be strictly narrative. The purpose of the letter should be to communicate a broader issue, idea, or innovation. All authors (3 maximum) must be trainees. Submissions are due by Friday, May 28, 2021.
