The arrival of Spring is wonderful, and the Summer brings a welcome pace, but the Fall is the best time of year for ANA members. It’s the season we convene for the Annual Meeting, the most exciting event in academic neurology, to be held this year from October 13-15, 2019 in St. Louis. As always, ANA2019 will bring together clinician-researchers from around the world and across subspecialties to enjoy symposia featuring the most promising science, interactive lunch workshops and special interest group sessions that drill down to the topics most relevant to your work, and professional development sessions offering advice tailored to your career level—so you can actually use it. ANA2019’s advance program details the groundbreaking research that will be showcased at the meeting and which of our renowned colleagues will present it. Once again, Scientific Program Advisory Committee Chair M. Elizabeth Ross and her team have left no stone unturned in assembling an outstanding lineup including a pre-meeting symposium on brain-computer interfaces and a presidential symposium on Alzheimer’s disease featuring advocate Kim Campbell, wife of the late musician/songwriter/actor Glen Campbell.
