Grant to Activate Global Engagement (GAGE) Application
Eligible Applicants: Neurology and neuroscience organizations (e.g., associations, societies, non-governmental organizations), and higher education institutions in low- and middle-income countries.

Please submit all materials by July 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM PDT. Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding. Proposed educational activities should be held by April 30, 2026. A progress report will be required with details of the meeting planning and a summary of the symposium after completion.
Please format your GAGE proposal as outlined below. Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding. Your proposal should be formatted as a single-spaced document using 11-point Arial font with 0.5-inch margins.
GAGE Proposal Sections:
1. Face Page:
- Submitter’s full name
- Submitter’s Institution

- Title of proposed educational activity
- Proposed educational activity date(s)
2. Questions:
- Please provide details on the research/education symposium proposed (location, proposed topics/speakers/attendees, number of attendees, thematic issues of the meeting, length of meeting, assessment of meeting)? (up to 500 words)
- What are the key opportunities you hope to achieve in hosting the symposium? (up to 250 words)
- What are the biggest challenges to hosting a meeting in your local setting and how do you plan to overcome these challenges? (up to 250 words)
- How do you hope the meeting will impact neurological care? (up to 250 words)
3. Budget:
- Please provide an itemized budget for the proposal (up to $2,000 USD) using the ANA Budget Template.
