The 2017 award nomination submission deadline has been extended. All nominations must be submitted by June 12, 2017, 11:59 pm ET. Below you will find a details on each opportunity to nominate your peers, faculty and colleagues:

Derek Denny-Brown Young Neurological Scholar Award
Submit a Nomination
The Derek Denny-Brown Young Neurological Scholar Award, ANA's highest and most prestigious award, recognizes early- to mid-career neurologists and neuroscientists. Membership is required in order to be eligible for this award. Each awardee will present a paper at the ANA's 2017 Annual Meeting. The ANA will also award a plaque and a prize of $1,000 to each awardee.

The Grass Foundation - ANA Award in Neuroscience 
Submit a Nomination
The Grass Foundation- ANA Award in Neuroscience was established in 2007 to recognize outstanding young physician-scientists conducting research in basic or clinical neuroscience. The awardee will present either a paper or a poster at the ANA's Annual Meeting which will be held on October 15-17, 2017 in San Diego, CA. The ANA will also award a plaque and a prize of $1,000 to the awardee. 

ANA Distinguished Neurology Teacher Award
Submit a Nomination
The Distinguished Neurology Teacher Award was established to recognize outstanding accomplishments in teaching neurology students. The purpose is to encourage efforts to recognize and reward contributions by gifted and talented teachers in neurology. Each Neurology Department in the U.S. and Canada is encouraged to nominate one individual from the entire field of neurology each year. The awardee will be recognized with a plaque and a prize of $1,000 at the ANA's 2017 Annual Meeting.
