GAGE Program Overview

The Grant to Activate Global Engagement (GAGE) Funding was first established in 2020 as a response to the global COVID-19 pandemic and successfully supported efforts to engage global neurologists in the American Neurological Association's (ANA) virtual Annual Meeting. The virtual platform presented an ideal opportunity to engage academic neurologists and neuroscientists from organizations in low to lower-middle-income countries to participate in the Annual Meeting. Organizations comprised of neurologists/neurology trainees engaged in clinical care, research and/or medical education in an LLMIC setting whose practice was focused on the care of children and/or adults with neurological disorders. Each organization received a grant in the amount of $1,500 USD.
