The Grant to Activate Global Engagement (GAGE) was awarded in 2020 and 2021 as a response to the global pandemic which resulted in ANA holding a virtual annual meeting. The virtual platform presented an ideal opportunity to engage academic neurologists and neuroscientists from organizations in low to lower-middle-income countries to participate in the annual meeting. Organizations comprised of neurologists/neurology trainees engaged in clinical care, research and/or medical education in an LLMIC setting whose practice was focused on the care of children and/or adults with neurological disorders were invited to apply for this grant.
Three organizations received $1,500 in funds which is used to help awardees participate in the annual meeting.
