American Society for Experimental NeuroTherapeutics

ASENT and the ANA are collaborating to advance the development of new therapies for neurological disorders, by bringing together key leaders from the academic neurology community, industry and government to explore the challenges associated with CNS therapy development.

Association of University Professors of Neurology

The AUPN partners with the ANA to present Career Development courses each year at the ANA's Annual Meeting. The AUPN provides career development courses the Chairs of Neurology, and holds its Annual Meeting in conjunction with the ANA's Annual Meeting.


American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

As mandated by the American Board of Medical Specialties,  the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. has developed a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program that includes four components:

  1. Professionalism and Professional Standing;
  2. Lifelong Learning (CME) and Self-Assessment (SA)
  3. Assessment of Knowledge, Judgment and Skills
  4. Improvement in Medical Practice (PIP)

The Maintenance of Certification Program (MOC) of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology reflects the Board’s commitment to lifelong learning throughout one’s profession. The mission of MOC is to ensure that diplomates adhere to the highest standards in medicine and pursue excellence in all areas of care and practice improvement.
